The Opportunity
To support our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the role of Voice Procurement Manager.
The Voice Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with global telecom carriers and voice suppliers, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring competitive, reliable, and compliant procurement of international voice services. This role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and service quality assurance rather than active voice trading. The position plays a key role in driving long-term partnerships, cost efficiency, and consistent service performance across our voice business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with international voice carriers, telecom operators, and aggregators.
- Conduct supplier sourcing and onboarding, including due diligence, testing coordination, and quality validation.
- Manage commercial negotiations, contracts, and rate agreements with carriers and partners.
- Oversee rate management, benchmarking, and cost optimization to ensure competitive pricing and sustainable margins.
- Monitor overall service quality and performance in collaboration with routing and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with internal teams on capacity planning, coverage expansion, and service improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Finance on invoicing, dispute resolution, credit management, and commercial reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements related to international voice services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global wholesale voice market trends and regulatory developments.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in carrier relations, telecom procurement, supplier management, or wholesale voice operations.
- Strong existing network of global voice carriers, operators, and aggregators.
- Solid understanding of international voice markets, routing principles, and pricing structures.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive commercial outcomes.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and startup-style environment.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple supplier and partner relationships independently.
