Role Description The Sourcing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers for construction materials, fixtures, fittings, and services required for luxury residential projects. Day-to-day activities include negotiating pricing and contracts, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials in line with project specifications and budgets. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate closely with procurement, project management, engineering, and finance teams to optimize costs, maintain quality standards, and support project timelines. The role also involves market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, maintaining vendor relationships, and implementing best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Strong sourcing and procurement skills, including vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation.
- Experience in materials management and supply chain coordination within construction or real estate.
- Ability to analyze costs, prepare comparative statements, and support budget adherence for projects.
- Knowledge of construction materials, building systems, and quality standards relevant to luxury residential projects.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel and other procurement or ERP tools for tracking orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant experience in real estate or construction sourcing is highly preferred.
