- Bachelor's Degree (BBA/Commerce/Management) or equivalent
- Diploma in Material Management / Logistics & Supply Chain preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Store & Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end store operations, procurement, warehouse management, inventory control, and dispatch activities. The candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing environments, ensuring uninterrupted production through effective material planning, vendor management, inventory optimization, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Warehouse Management
- Manage end-to-end store operations including material receipt, inspection, binning, storage, preservation, and material issue.
- Ensure proper GRN, MRN, Gate Pass, and inventory documentation.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and compliance with safety standards.
- Ensure accurate material traceability and stock movement records.
Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted production.
- Monitor Min-Max and Reorder Levels.
- Conduct physical stock verification, cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory audits.
- Implement FIFO, FEFO, and ABC Analysis.
- Control slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Inventory MIS reports.
Purchase & Procurement
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PR).
- Source suppliers and obtain RFQs.
- Compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (PO).
- Follow up with vendors for timely deliveries.
- Verify supplier invoices and procurement documents.
- Maintain procurement records and support cost optimization initiatives.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Plan dispatch as per production schedules.
- Prepare Delivery Challans, Packing Lists, E-Way Bills, and transport documentation.
- Coordinate with transporters for timely deliveries.
- Maintain dispatch documentation and logistics MIS.
Vendor Management
- Develop and evaluate vendors.
- Build long-term supplier relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance and delivery timelines.
- Achieve procurement cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Finance, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production.
- Resolve inventory and procurement-related issues promptly.
