Role Description The Mechanical Engineer role at DIEU TECH ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing mechanical systems and components, preparing detailed drawings and models, and supporting construction and installation activities. Day-to-day tasks include performing technical calculations, reviewing specifications, coordinating with civil and electrical teams, and ensuring that mechanical designs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves monitoring project progress, supporting troubleshooting on-site, preparing technical documentation and reports, and assisting in vendor and material evaluation. The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with project managers and site personnel to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating models and technical drawings.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and tracking of mechanical work.
- Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D) for improving designs, processes, and materials.
- Relevant skills include knowledge of construction industry practices, material selection, and mechanical standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes, and to resolve technical issues on-site.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field; prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
