Role Description The Piping Engineer will work on-site in Nashik in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and engineering of piping systems for industrial and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing piping layouts and designs, performing calculations and stress analysis, and preparing detailed drawings and specifications in coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves reviewing design standards, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety guidelines, and supporting the integration of piping systems with equipment and structural elements. The Piping Engineer will collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to resolve technical issues, optimize designs for constructability and cost, and support project execution from concept through to construction.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in piping engineering, including Piping Design and Piping system layout.
- Ability to perform technical Calculations related to flow, pressure, and sizing of pipe components.
- Experience with Stress Analysis of Pipe and Piping systems to ensure integrity and compliance with codes.
- Working knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) for piping and pressure systems.
- Competence in using CAD/3D modeling tools and piping design software for detailed engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with cross-functional project teams.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality in design and execution.
