Role Description The Site Incharge role is a full-time, on-site position based in Patna. The role involves overseeing day-to-day site operations, including supervising construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines. The Site Incharge is responsible for monitoring work quality, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining site documentation such as daily progress reports, material records, and attendance. This role also includes liaising with project managers and clients, addressing on-site issues, and supporting resource planning to keep the project on schedule and within budget. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective leadership of the site workforce.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in site supervision, construction planning, and basic project coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality checking, safety management, and compliance with construction standards and regulations.
- Candidates should possess skills in documentation, reporting, and use of basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word) for site records.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, team leadership, and stakeholder coordination with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related construction field is preferred.
- Prior experience in managing or supervising construction sites will be an advantage.
- Ability to work extended hours on-site when required and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local construction practices, materials, and statutory requirements in Bihar is beneficial.
