Role Description The Admission Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the college search and application process, explaining programs, eligibility criteria, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures. Daily responsibilities include handling inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, providing personalized counseling, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and follow-ups. The role also involves collaborating with the internal team to share insights on student needs, supporting outreach activities, and meeting enrollment and conversion targets in a professional, student-centric manner.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and professionals.
- Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and provide supportive guidance throughout the admission journey.
- Sales skills to convert leads into enrollments ethically, present options clearly, and achieve admission targets.
- Education-related understanding to explain academic programs, eligibility criteria, and career pathways accurately.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi, with clear verbal and written communication.
- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and online platforms for managing student data and follow-ups.
- Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, maintain professionalism, and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; prior experience in counseling, education consulting, or admissions is an advantage.
