Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in HSR Layout, Bengaluru for both Senior Interior Designers and Interior Designers with 2 to 5 years of experience, ideally available to join immediately. Professionals in this role will handle end‑to‑end residential interior design projects, including client consultations, concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed design presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating construction drawings, selecting materials and finishes, specifying FF&E, and ensuring design intent is accurately executed on site. The role also involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality, and aligning designs with client budgets and timelines. Senior Interior Designers will additionally mentor junior team members and contribute to design standards and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning for residential projects.
- Strong understanding of Architecture and ability to integrate architectural elements into interior concepts.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical details.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, fabrics, and finishes.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience; prior work in residential interiors is highly desirable.
- Comfort with design tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and MS Office.
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project coordination abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and join within a short notice period is preferred.
