Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end interior design projects, from concept development and space planning to final execution and handover. Responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing design proposals, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating FF&E selections, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project. The role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, vendors, and project managers to manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior designers, contribute to design guidelines, and help maintain consistency with Interior Company’s brand and design principles.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically pleasing residential and commercial spaces.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, prepare, and coordinate detailed technical documents.
- Proficiency in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination aligned with project budgets and design concepts.
- Advanced skills in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., InDesign, PowerPoint).
- Proven experience managing full-cycle interior design projects, including client communication, vendor coordination, and site supervision.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and creative skills, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality interior design work.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and defend design solutions confidently.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of progressive experience in interior design; prior experience in a senior or lead design role is preferred.
