Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru (HSR Layout) for both Senior Interior Designer and Interior Designer positions. The role involves meeting clients to understand requirements, translating their vision into practical design concepts, and preparing detailed layouts, mood boards, and material palettes. Responsibilities include coordinating space planning, interior design, and FF&E selections, as well as developing construction drawings in collaboration with architects, vendors, and site teams. The designer will oversee project execution on-site, monitor quality, timelines, and budgets, and ensure designs are implemented as planned. The role also includes regular site visits, vendor coordination, and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to deliver affordable yet premium residential interiors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with experience in residential projects.
- Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to develop, read, and coordinate technical plans.
- Candidates should possess FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification skills, ensuring cohesive design and budgeting.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrated portfolio of executed residential interiors, with experience in modular and custom solutions.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong client communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- For Senior Interior Designer: prior leadership or project lead experience and ability to mentor junior designers.
