Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces for residential and commercial projects in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role includes assisting with concept development, preparing mood boards, and contributing to space planning and interior layouts. Daily responsibilities involve creating and updating construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, sourcing materials and finishes, and preparing presentations for client meetings. The role also includes collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, conducting site visits, and helping ensure that designs align with sustainability and project standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and FF&E selection for residential and commercial projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to create functional and balanced layouts.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reading Construction Drawings, including basic detailing and documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Candidates should possess strong visual, creative, and conceptual design abilities, with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or junior-level experience in interior design is preferred.
- Candidates should possess an interest in sustainable design practices and the ability to manage time and multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment.
