Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, design preferences, budget,and project expectations.
- Develop innovative and customized interior design concepts, mood boards, layouts and space planning solutions.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings, working drawings and 3D design presentations using industry standard design software.
- Create material palettes, furniture selections, lighting plans, color schemes and decor recommendations aligned with client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Business Managers, Project Managers, Site Engineers and Vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, resolve design related challenges and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Guide and mentor junior designers by reviewing design concepts, technical drawings and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection, product specifications and timely procurement.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets, timelines and quality standards.
- Present design concepts confidently to clients and incorporate feedback while maintaining design integrity.
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Ensure all drawings, BOQs, specifications and project documentation are accurate and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with cross functional teams to achieve high customer satisfaction and successful project handovers.
- Identify opportunities to enhance design quality, improve processes and contribute to business growth through innovative solutions.
