Role Description The Tender Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai. This position is responsible for managing the end-to-end tender process, including identifying relevant tender opportunities, reviewing and preparing tender documents, and coordinating internal inputs for accurate and timely submissions. Daily activities include preparing commercial and technical proposals, maintaining tender records, tracking submission deadlines, and ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. The Tender Executive works closely with sales, procurement, finance, and operations teams to gather pricing, technical specifications, and contractual information. The role also involves liaising with customers and vendors, responding to tender-related queries, and supporting post-tender follow-ups and negotiations.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years government tendering experience. Priori GeM tendering experience mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong skills in tender management and bid preparation, including the ability to interpret tender documents and compile accurate proposals.
- Proficiency in documentation, data management, and MS Office tools (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) to organize and present tender information.
- Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to work on pricing, basic cost analysis, and margin calculations.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tenders, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of aviation or defense industry practices, or willingness to learn industry-specific standards and terminology.
