We're Hiring: Senior Sales Representative — Steel Coils & Sheets
📍 Delhi / Ghaziabad · Field sales · Full-time, permanent
Areca Steel is a steel processing company supplying GP, GPSP and colour-coated (PPGI) coils and sheets to a base of 150+ consumers across India. As we expand our processing capacity, we are looking for an experienced sales professional to grow our presence across North India and build long-term customer relationships.
About the role
You will own your territory end-to-end — from enquiry and technical specification through to order, delivery and account management. The focus is on deepening relationships with existing buyers and converting them into consistent, repeat accounts, while identifying new business across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle — enquiry, grade and sizing, pricing, order execution and delivery
- Convert one-time buyers into steady monthly accounts
- Track market movement — mill rates, competitor pricing and demand forecasts — to support timely procurement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the steel industry
- Strong product knowledge — grades, zinc coating (GSM), thickness and width tolerances
- An established network of manufacturers and fabricators in North India, with credible leads you can activate
- Sound market understanding — pricing, credit terms, freight
- Graduate, and driving licence (preferred)
Compensation
Fixed salary, performance incentive and travel allowance — finalised at the time of offer, based on experience and the customer base you bring.
