Company Description : ERW/CDW Tube Manufacturing [Ltd Industry]
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Quality DGM/GM to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for our ERW/CDW Tube Manufacturing Plant. The ideal candidate will drive quality excellence, ensure compliance with national and international standards, lead audits, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process.
Key Reasposibilites :
- Lead the Quality Assurance & Quality Control functions across the manufacturing plant.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, API, BIS, customer specifications, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Develop and implement quality policies, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and preventive quality systems.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and defect prevention programs.
- Manage internal and external quality audits and customer inspections.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Purchase, and R&D teams to achieve quality objectives.
- Mentor and develop the quality team to build a high-performance culture.
Qualification :
- 15–20 years of relevant experience in ERW/CDW Tube Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO, IATF, API, BIS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in quality planning, process control, testing, and inspection techniques.
- Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams and customer audits.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement practices will be an added advantage.
