Role Description The Logistics Manager is a full-time role based in Gandhidham with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring day-to-day logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing activities, and distribution schedules. The Logistics Manager will oversee inventory levels, ensure timely order fulfillment, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to maintain service quality and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include managing logistics documentation, monitoring KPIs, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards. The role also requires continuous process improvement, effective team leadership, and support for strategic initiatives that enhance supply chain performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution effectively.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, manage replenishment, and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle queries, manage expectations, and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess Procurement skills to collaborate with suppliers, negotiate terms, and optimize purchasing decisions.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations management, or a related field are preferred.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills, with proficiency in ERP or logistics management systems, are beneficial.
- Experience leading teams in a logistics or supply chain environment and the ability to collaborate across functions is advantageous.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement are expected.
