Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Day-to-day work includes meeting with clients, understanding project requirements, preparing mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves producing and reviewing design drawings, ensuring that designs are both functional and visually cohesive, and overseeing on-site execution to maintain design integrity and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhidham, requiring regular presence at the studio and project sites.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and organize interior spaces effectively, including strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and their integration with interiors for cohesive project outcomes.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings for interior projects.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Comfort with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and standard office tools.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and detail-oriented design skills with a portfolio demonstrating completed projects.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable materials, current design trends, and basic local building codes is an advantage.
