Job Description – Senior Transport Manager
Location: Gandhidham, Gujarat
Experience: 8–10 Years
CTC: Up to ₹12.00 LPA
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Transport Manager to lead and manage our Liquid Tanker Transportation Operations. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in bulk liquid logistics, fleet operations, customer coordination, and transport compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Liquid Tanker Transportation Operations.
- Plan and monitor fleet movement to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
- Optimize vehicle utilization, route planning, and trip execution.
- Coordinate with customers, drivers, transport vendors, and internal operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, road safety regulations, and company HSE policies.
- Monitor fleet performance, turnaround time (TAT), vehicle availability, and operational costs.
- Handle driver management, training, discipline, and performance monitoring.
- Investigate transport incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare MIS reports, operational dashboards, and management reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Transport Manager, with a proven track record in Liquid Tanker Operations.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience must be exclusively in Liquid Tanker Transportation Operations.
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, tanker scheduling, transport documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and transport management systems (TMS) is preferred.

- CTC: Up to ₹12.00 LPA (based on experience and competency).
