Role Description The Outbound Telemarketer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. This role involves making outbound calls to existing and prospective customers, presenting services and offers clearly, and encouraging sign-ups or upgrades. The Outbound Telemarketer will handle appointment scheduling, maintain accurate call records, and follow up on leads to support sales targets. Daily tasks include answering customer queries, providing product information, managing objections professionally, and escalating complex issues when needed. The role requires adherence to call scripts and compliance guidelines, while consistently delivering a courteous and service-focused experience.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with diverse customers over the phone.
- Customer service and appointment scheduling skills to manage inquiries, book visits, and ensure smooth follow-ups.
- Sales skills, including lead conversion, basic negotiation, and the ability to work toward measurable targets.
- Basic computer proficiency, including using CRM or call management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, with flexibility to follow shift schedules as required.
- Prior experience in telemarketing, call centers, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or customer service is an advantage.
- Capability to work in a team environment, handle repetitive tasks, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
