The Marketing Manager role focuses on developing and expanding the company’s business-to-business customer base across India within the nickel alloy and specialty metals segment. This hands-on position combines market development, customer acquisition, relationship management, and commercial and technical understanding to generate new business and strengthen the company’s market presence.
Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new customers across India through calls, emails, meetings, and customer visits
- Develop relationships with procurement, purchasing, engineering, project, and production teams
- Target original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies, fabricators, engineering companies, and industrial end users
- Generate customer enquiries, follow up on quotations, and convert opportunities into orders
- Develop existing accounts and generate repeat and higher-value business
- Identify new industries, applications, and geographic markets for nickel alloys
- Maintain the customer database, sales pipeline, forecasts, and regular management reports
- Coordinate with sales, purchasing, inventory, and logistics teams to support smooth order execution
- Develop market intelligence on competitors, pricing, demand, and customer requirements
Requirements
- Relevant experience in business-to-business marketing, sales, business development, or account management within an industrial or technical market
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new customers, develop existing accounts, and manage a sales pipeline
- Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation, and commercial skills
- Ability to understand technical products and customer requirements while coordinating effectively with internal teams
