Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement for on-site teams in Kochi. This full-time, on-site role includes managing HR policies, maintaining employee records, handling payroll inputs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards. The Human Resources Manager will support managers and employees with HR-related queries, facilitate training and development initiatives, and help resolve workplace issues in a fair and timely manner. The role also involves developing HR processes to support a positive work culture, coordinating with leadership on workforce planning, and contributing to continuous improvement in HR practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding, with experience managing hiring processes for multiple roles.
- Competence in performance management, employee engagement, and handling employee relations in a professional and unbiased manner.
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor law compliance, and HR documentation, including employee records and payroll inputs.
- Ability to design and support training, development, and career progression initiatives for diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency with HR software, MS Office, and basic data analysis for HR reporting and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist in construction, real estate, or related industries is beneficial.
