Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, responsible for supporting end-to-end HR operations at Just Education Global Pvt. Ltd. This role involves implementing and maintaining HR policies, coordinating recruitment activities, managing onboarding and offboarding processes, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Generalist will handle employee records, assist with performance management processes, and respond to HR-related queries from team members. Daily responsibilities include administering employee benefits, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, maintaining HR documentation, and collaborating with management to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in generalist or similar HR roles.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and their implementation, including compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Understanding of Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including coordination with vendors and accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software, and solid skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the education or services sector is a plus, along with a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
