Role Description The Design Engineer will work full time on-site in Rajkot, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product designs from concept to production. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD tools, performing design calculations, and ensuring designs meet mechanical and electrical performance requirements. The role involves reviewing specifications, supporting prototype development and testing, and incorporating feedback from manufacturing, quality, and customer teams to improve designs. The Design Engineer will also document design changes, maintain technical records, and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills, including product design and development.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering knowledge for materials, manufacturing processes, and structural analysis.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Candidates should possess basic Electrical Engineering understanding for integrating electrical components into product designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and specifications, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Experience with prototype testing, design validation, and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
