Role Description The Mechanical Designer is a full-time, on-site role based at the Raj Innotech manufacturing facility in Rajkot. This role involves creating detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings for water treatment and beverage processing equipment, ensuring that designs meet functional requirements, safety standards, and manufacturing capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include using CAD tools to develop and revise 2D/3D models, preparing assembly and fabrication drawings, and coordinating with production, quality, and project teams to support efficient manufacturing and installation. The Mechanical Designer will participate in R&D activities to improve existing systems, develop new components, and optimize designs for performance, durability, and cost-effectiveness. The position also requires documentation of design specifications, adherence to company standards, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Drawing skills to create accurate, clear, and manufacturable mechanical drawings and documentation.
- Candidates should possess Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering skills to develop robust, efficient equipment and components for water and beverage projects.
- Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D/3D modeling and design optimization.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to support product improvement, innovation, and performance enhancement.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards for machinery and process equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, work in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple design tasks within deadlines.
- Prior experience in industrial machinery, process equipment, or packaging systems is beneficial.
