Role Description
The Civil Design Engineer Cum Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role involves planning, designing, and reviewing civil engineering projects, including site layouts, infrastructure components, and related technical documentation. The individual will prepare design drawings, calculations, reports, and specifications, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. As a trainer, the role includes developing training modules, delivering classroom and practical sessions on civil design topics, mentoring learners, and evaluating their progress. The position also requires collaboration with internal teams and clients, providing technical guidance, updating training content to reflect industry trends, and supporting continuous improvement of both project delivery and training programs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world projects.
- Experience in Land Development, including site planning, grading, and infrastructure layout.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management systems, design methods, and regulatory considerations.
- Proficiency in Roadway Design, including alignment, profiles, and related design standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to design and deliver technical training, with clear communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with relevant CAD/BIM and civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
- Capability to work on-site in Pune, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience in engineering topics is an advantage.
