Role Description The Cad Designer role at Refnic is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Cad Designer will create detailed technical and construction drawings, 2D and 3D CAD models, and layout plans for recycling plants, metallurgical units, and associated industrial systems. Responsibilities include translating engineering concepts into precise design documentation, updating drawings based on design reviews, ensuring alignment with project specifications and safety standards, and maintaining organized drawing files and revision histories. The role also involves collaborating closely with design engineers, mechanical and process engineering teams, and project managers to refine designs, optimize layouts, and support manufacturing and installation activities.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Technical Drawing for industrial and process equipment.
- Proficiency in Drawing and Construction Drawings for plant layouts, equipment assemblies, and structural details.
- Experience in Design Engineering, working with engineering teams to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
- Familiarity with industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) and basic 3D modeling.
- Understanding of mechanical or industrial engineering principles; diploma or degree in engineering or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple design tasks and revisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional project teams on-site.
