Role Description- The Biology Teacher for Classes
9–12 CBSE/ICSE will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the relevant school curriculum and exam requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and teaching theory and practical biology classes, preparing instructional materials, assessing student progress through tests and assignments, and providing targeted academic support. The teacher will clarify fundamental concepts, guide students in exam preparation, and maintain an organized, disciplined, and encouraging classroom environment. Collaboration with other faculty members, participation in parent–teacher interactions, and contribution to academic activities such as doubt-clearing sessions or enrichment programs are expected. Qualifications
- Strong subject expertise in Biology for classes 9–12, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and structured manner.
- Proven teaching experience and a qualified teacher background, with familiarity with school and board exam syllabi.
- Ability to plan effective lessons, organize course content, and use varied teaching methods to address different learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage students, provide constructive feedback, and interact professionally with parents and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Comfort with using basic educational technology (presentations, online resources) to support classroom teaching.
- Strong classroom management skills, patience, and a student-centered approach focused on building confidence and consistent performance.
- Experience in coaching students for board examinations or competitive tests (such as medical entrance exams) will be an added advantage.
