Role Description
The STEM & Tech Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow and Kanpur, responsible for leading innovation lab activities in partner schools. The mentor will conduct hands-on sessions and workshops in robotics, coding, AI, STEM projects, and design thinking, guiding students through structured curricula and projects. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, setting up and maintaining lab equipment, supervising student activities, and ensuring a safe, inclusive learning environment. The mentor will collaborate with school staff to integrate lab activities with academic goals, track student progress, and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes. The role also involves supporting curriculum implementation, contributing to learning resources, and representing NaivoTech’s values of innovation and learner-centered education.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in STEM domains such as robotics, coding/programming, AI, electronics, or 3D design/printing.
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, or facilitating workshops for school-age learners in technology or science subjects.
- Ability to design and deliver experiential, project-based learning activities aligned with curriculum guidelines.
- Effective communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups of students.
- Comfort with setting up, operating, and troubleshooting educational lab equipment and software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field B.Tech (Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mechanical, Electronics, or related).
- Passion for innovation, curiosity, and encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving among learners.
- Willingness to work on-site in schools in Lucknow, Kanpur and collaborate closely with educators and administrators.
- People with Fluent communication and from Kanpur are preferred.
