Job Summery:
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support activities for solar water pumping systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical systems, solar products, and service operations.
Key Responsibility:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar panels, controllers, VFDs, motors, and pumps.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance visits.
- Coordinate with customers and provide technical support regarding system operation and performance.
- Prepare service reports and maintain records of service activities.
- Monitor system performance and suggest corrective actions when required.
- Ensure timely closure of service complaints and warranty claims.
- Coordinate with the sales and project teams for smooth project execution.
- Train customers on proper operation and maintenance of solar pumping systems.
- Follow company safety standards and service procedures during site visits.
Required Qualification:
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in solar pump, solar EPC, electrical service, or pump industry.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, VFDs, AC/DC motors, controllers, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driving license preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work at project sites.
Desired Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Basic computer knowledge for report preparation and service documentation.
- Knowledge of solar irrigation and agricultural pumping systems will be an added advantage.
