Role Description The Furniture Contecter role at Suthar Interior is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The role involves coordinating furniture projects from initial client inquiry through delivery, including taking measurements, documenting requirements, and ensuring accurate communication between clients, designers, and workshop teams. Day-to-day tasks may include visiting project sites, preparing basic sketches or notes, tracking orders, following up with suppliers and carpenters, and assisting in quality checks on finished furniture. The Furniture Contecter is also responsible for maintaining records, updating project status, and helping resolve any issues related to timelines, materials, or installation. This role requires working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure furniture is delivered as per specifications and within agreed schedules.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong coordination and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple furniture projects and track timelines.
- Candidates should possess basic technical understanding of furniture construction, materials, measurements, and site conditions.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, designers, carpenters, and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve issues related to fit, finish, and installation.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with interior or furniture industry practices; prior experience in furniture, carpentry, or interior projects is preferred.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including visiting project locations as required and adhering to safety and company guidelines.
- Candidates should possess at least a high school diploma; additional technical training in interior design, furniture making, or related fields is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess basic computer skills for maintaining records, preparing simple reports, and using communication tools.
