Scymes is looking for a Product person with experience in remittances , transaction banking and FX for one of its MNC bank clients .
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Product role focused on cross-border remittances and FX , based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and enhancing remittance product offerings, including defining product features, monitoring performance, and ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment across product variations. The individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as operations, technology, sales, and compliance teams to improve customer experience, optimize pricing, and streamline transaction flows. The Daily tasks include analyzing transaction data, tracking market trends, preparing product documentation, and supporting product launches and enhancements.
Qualifications
- Ability to function as a Product Specialist, with experience in managing or supporting payment or remittance products.
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting transaction data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform product decisions.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Customer Service orientation to understand user needs, resolve product-related issues, and improve customer experience.
- Sales acumen to support go-to-market initiatives, assist in product positioning, and work closely with business development teams.
- Working knowledge of cross-border payments, foreign exchange, and banking operations, especially in the BFSI sector.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to international remittances and financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field;
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools for reporting and performance tracking.
