Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Supervisors and Engineers responsible for solar and plant installations at various locations. The role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing installation activities for solar projects and associated plant infrastructure, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Daily tasks include supervising site teams, reviewing engineering drawings, managing materials and equipment at site, and coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients to resolve technical or operational issues. The position also requires monitoring quality, conducting site inspections, documenting progress, and preparing reports to support project tracking and compliance. The role may involve travel to multiple project sites and close collaboration with cross-functional logistics and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge in solar power systems, plant engineering, and installation practices, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience in project supervision and site management, including coordination of workforce, materials, equipment, and contractors at industrial or infrastructure project sites.
- Proficiency in basic project planning and monitoring tools (e.g., MS Office, project tracking spreadsheets) and familiarity with quality assurance and safety standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external partners, and for preparing clear progress and status reports.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on timely, safe, and compliant project execution.
- Relevant technical education such as a diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering disciplines; prior experience in solar or industrial plant installations is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and travel to various project locations as required; ability to work in field conditions and manage multiple priorities.
