Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Warehouse Manager role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Warehouse Manager will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching garments and accessories to retail outlets and customers. Responsibilities include managing inventory accuracy, organizing stock locations, monitoring stock levels, and implementing efficient stock rotation processes. The role also entails coordinating with merchandising, retail, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and smooth flow of goods. The Warehouse Manager will lead and train warehouse staff, enforce safety and compliance standards, maintain cleanliness and organization, and use warehouse systems and reports to optimize space utilization and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills to maintain accurate stock records and minimize discrepancies.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management and Operations Management skills to plan, organize, and optimize warehouse processes and stock flows.
- Candidates should possess safe Forklift Operation skills and familiarity with material handling equipment, where applicable.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with warehouse management or ERP systems, basic data analysis, and MS Excel for reporting and tracking.
- Candidates should possess leadership, team management, and communication skills to supervise staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail/fashion environment.
- Relevant experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in apparel or retail; a diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
