Role Description The Assistant Warehouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vapi, responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This role includes overseeing inventory movements, assisting in stock planning, and monitoring receiving, storage, and dispatch processes to ensure accuracy and timely order fulfillment. The Assistant Warehouse Manager will help supervise warehouse staff, coordinate forklift and material handling activities, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining documentation, optimizing warehouse layout and workflows, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with logistics and operations teams to meet service level and performance targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Stock Control and Inventory Control to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of goods.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management and Operations Management to support efficient warehouse planning and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Forklift Operation and other material handling practices to safely manage loading, unloading, and internal movements.
- Candidates should have experience in warehouse or logistics operations, preferably within FMCG, chemicals, pharma, or e-commerce sectors.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should be familiar with warehouse management systems (WMS), basic MS Office tools, and standard safety and compliance regulations.
- A relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations management is preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
