Job Summary
The SCM Depot Manager is responsible for the complete operational management of an AVASO depot, ensuring efficient execution of warehouse, logistics and IT asset lifecycle services. The role oversees inventory accuracy, customer commitments, SLA compliance, operational excellence, audit readiness, team performance, financial control and continuous process improvement. The Depot Manager serves as the primary operational contact for customers and internal stakeholders while ensuring global standards, security requirements and regulatory compliance are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all inbound, outbound, staging, imaging, kitting, storage, reverse logistics and disposal activities within agreed SLAs.
• Manage serialized IT assets throughout their lifecycle ensuring complete traceability in WMS/ERP and ServiceNow.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical audits, reconciliations and root cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Develop depot capacity plans, manpower schedules and workload balancing to meet customer demand.
• Monitor daily KPIs including receiving turnaround, dispatch performance, inventory accuracy, ageing stock and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, ITAD practices, ESD handling, health & safety and information security requirements.
• Lead customer audits, business reviews and depot visits while presenting operational performance and improvement initiatives.
• Manage third-party logistics providers, courier partners and warehouse vendors to ensure service quality and cost efficiency.
• Coach, mentor and develop depot engineers and warehouse staff through performance reviews and training.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce operational cost and eliminate process waste.
• Support new customer onboarding, solution implementation and operational transition activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports, risk registers and management dashboards.
• Handling of pre-sales solutioning and new project transitions.
Skills & Competencies
•Strong knowledge of warehouse management, logistics operations and IT asset lifecycle management.
• Expertise in WMS, ERP, ServiceNow and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership, coaching, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of international shipping, customs documentation and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of ISO, ITAD, ESD and quality management standards.

• Inventory accuracy ≥99.9%
• SLA compliance for receiving, staging and dispatch.

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 7-9 years of experience in IT depot operations, warehouse management, service logistics or OEM service environments.
• Minimum 2-4 years in a people management role.
• Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, ITIL or Lean Six Sigma are desirable.
• Proven experience managing customer audits, serialized inventory, global depot operations and multi-functional teams.
