We are looking for an ambitious, result-oriented Senior Sales Executive to drive our polymer sales division, expand our market presence, and generate strong business growth across West Bengal and neighboring regions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Executive with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the sales of polymers (such as PE, PP, PVC, EVA, or related synthetic polymers/resins). The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of the commercial pipeline—from aggressive lead generation and new client acquisition to negotiation, deal closing, and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales journey from cold outreach and lead generation to contract finalization and post-sales coordination.
- New Business Acquisition: Identify, target, and onboard new industrial clients, manufacturers, and end-users of polymer raw materials across West Bengal and surrounding territories.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong, regular communication with existing key accounts to ensure recurring orders, long-term retention, and maximum customer satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and demand fluctuations in the polymer industry to formulate effective sales tactics and competitive pricing strategies.
- Sales Targets & Revenue Growth: Meet and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and revenue targets set by the management.
- Pipeline & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline forecasts, and daily/weekly performance reports to present to leadership.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven sales experience specifically in the Polymer / Chemical / Petrochemical industry.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of polymer grades, industrial applications, and local polymer manufacturing/processing sectors (plastic processors, extruders, molding plants, etc.).
- Skills:
- Exceptional cold-calling, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
- Location & Work Style: Must be based in or willing to relocate to West Bengal for a dedicated In-Office / On-Site role, with willingness to travel locally for field visits and client meetings as required.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary commensurate with industry standards and experience.
- Performance-based sales incentives and bonuses.
- High-growth potential within an established industrial supply enterprise.
- Supportive and dynamic work culture focused on operational excellence.
