Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their packaging requirements, present suitable paper-based solutions, and support them throughout the sales cycle. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical assessments, preparing and delivering product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal design and engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer needs. The role involves managing proposals, responding to technical and commercial inquiries, and providing post-sales technical support to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer will also contribute to market feedback, assist with documentation, and help identify opportunities for new business and product improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to explain complex packaging solutions in clear, practical terms.
- Demonstrated Sales and Customer Service experience, including managing leads, building client relationships, and supporting customers after installation.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, deliver presentations, and prepare concise technical documentation.
- Understanding of sustainable packaging concepts and basic knowledge of paper-based materials and manufacturing processes (preferred).
- Relevant academic background in engineering, packaging technology, materials science, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune Division, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and travel to customer locations as needed.
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to managing multiple projects and timelines.
- Prior experience in industrial, packaging, or manufacturing sectors will be an advantage.
