Role Description This full-time, on-site Production Engineer role is based at Vevra Packaging’s facility in Talegaon. The Production Engineer will oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient operation of manufacturing processes and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, monitoring equipment performance, identifying process improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines. The role also involves supervising quality checks on packaging solutions, analyzing production data to optimize resource usage, and supporting the implementation of sustainable and cost-effective production practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in manufacturing or packaging operations.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements.
- Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices to ensure products meet technical, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with shop-floor teams, suppliers, and management.
- Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and safety regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Talegaon, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
