Role Description The Production Engineer Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Interns will support daily production activities, including monitoring workflow, assisting in production planning, and coordinating with the engineering and operations teams to meet output and quality targets. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing production data, helping implement process improvements, and participating in quality checks to ensure adherence to standards and specifications. The role also involves preparing basic reports, documenting procedures, and communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve minor production issues. Interns will gain practical experience in manufacturing processes, control systems, and shop floor operations under the guidance of senior engineers.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Engineering and Production Planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation and process improvement.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills and an understanding of basic inspection methods.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related Engineering fields.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial safety, and standard operating procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to prepare simple technical reports.
- Willingness to work on-site in a factory environment, with attention to detail and a learning mindset.
