Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Arun Physio Rehab Center in Coimbatore. The Physiotherapist will assess patients using standardized protocols, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in the clinic and, when required, during supervised home visits. Daily responsibilities include documenting patient progress, updating rehabilitation goals, coordinating with the clinical team, and educating patients and caregivers on exercise programs, posture, and lifestyle modifications. The role also involves participating in continuous training, adhering to clinical SOPs, maintaining high standards of patient safety, and contributing to quality-of-life improvement for individuals with geriatric, post-surgical, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution, with appropriate registration/license as per local regulations.
- Clinical skills in assessment and management of musculoskeletal, neurological, geriatric, and post-operative conditions, including experience with exercise therapy, manual therapy, and rehabilitation planning.
- Ability to follow standardized assessment protocols and clinical SOPs, with strong documentation, case management, and outcome-tracking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate and motivate patients and caregivers, with a compassionate, patient-centric approach to care.
- Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary environment, manage time effectively, and adapt to clinic-based and supervised home-visit settings.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, openness to ongoing training, and familiarity with evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining electronic records and accessing online resources; prior experience in a rehabilitation or hospital setting is an advantage.
