Company Description Ananya Child Development & Early Intervention Clinic supports children with diverse educational and developmental needs, including learning disabilities, ADHD, APD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Physiotherapist role based at Ananya Child Development & Early Intervention Clinic in Hyderabad. The Physiotherapist will assess infants, toddlers, and children with developmental delays or special needs, and design individualised therapy plans to support motor development, functional mobility, and independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and adjusting treatment plans in coordination with the multidisciplinary team. The role involves close collaboration with parents and caregivers to provide guidance, home exercise programs, and education on supporting the child’s physical development. The Physiotherapist will also participate in team meetings, case discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities, contributing to workshops and continuous improvement of therapeutic approaches.
Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualification in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physiotherapy or equivalent), with appropriate registration/licensure where applicable.
- Experience or strong interest in paediatric physiotherapy, early intervention, and working with children with developmental delays and neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Skills in assessment and treatment of gross and fine motor skills, posture, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team (e.g., psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, behaviour therapists) to create integrated intervention plans.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and caregivers, including the ability to explain therapeutic goals and home programs clearly.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and participation in trainings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Organisational and documentation skills for maintaining accurate clinical records, tracking progress, and contributing to outcome measurement.
- Sensitivity, patience, and a child-centered approach, with the ability to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapy environment.
