Sr. M365 Engineer
Responsibilities:
∙Operate as a subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 technologies
∙Evaluate, design, and deploy foundational frameworks and governance models for Microsoft
365 services
∙Architect and deliver end-to-end Microsoft 365 solutions, with strong emphasis on Entra ID
(Azure AD), on-premises Active Directory, and Okta federation
∙Drive the adoption and integration of new technologies and advanced features across the
Microsoft 365 suite (e.g., Copilot for M365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)
∙Demonstrate expert-level proficiency with Exchange Online, ensuring reliable and secure
operations
∙Design, configure, and maintain effective Teams and SharePoint internal and external
collaboration strategies
∙Configure and manage cross-tenant access and collaboration settings
∙Possess a deep understanding of built-in Microsoft 365 security and governance capabilities,
including Microsoft Purview with a focus on data security
∙Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity team to design, review, and validate security and
governance controls for Microsoft 365 and related solutions
∙Serve as a subject matter expert for Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory, providing
mentorship to junior team members and guidance to operational teams
∙Work with infrastructure, network, and application teams to seamlessly integrate Microsoft
365 solutions across the enterprise ecosystem
∙Participate in technical design reviews to ensure solutions meet best practices, performance
expectations, and enterprise standards
∙Identify opportunities to improve service performance, resilience, and operational efficiency;
implement enhancements proactively
∙Stay current on the latest Microsoft 365 capabilities, roadmap developments, feature releases,
and industry trends, advising on organizational benefits
∙Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system configurations, standard
operating procedures, and change management artifacts
∙Provide tier 3 and advanced escalation support for Microsoft 365–related issues
∙Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity, authentication, and configuration issues across
both on-premises and cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications:
∙Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field
∙Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS-500, MD-102)
∙8+ years of experience in a senior-level role focusing on Microsoft 365 services
∙Deep knowledge of Entra ID authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle
management
∙Proven track record leading successful deployments, migrations, and modernization
initiatives within Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity environments
∙Demonstrated PowerShell proficiency, including automation development and complex bulk
operations across Microsoft 365 services
∙Strong knowledge of key Microsoft 365 workloads (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online,
Teams, OneDrive)
∙Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, able to work independently and
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
∙Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines effectively
