Job Title- Mainframe Storage Administration

Location-Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, Noida
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Mainframe Storage environments.
- Perform DASD-to-DASD and Tape-to-Tape migration activities.
- Configure and manage DASD, Tape Libraries, and storage replication.
- Manage DFSMS, DFSMShsm (HSM), DFSMSdss, DFSMSrmm, and storage policies.
- Perform storage provisioning, volume initialization, and tape management.
- Configure and maintain SMS Classes and ACS routines.
- Manage Catalogs, VSAM datasets, GDGs, PS/PDS/PDSE datasets.
- Perform backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
- Support GDPS, storage replication, and recovery testing.
- Perform VTOC resizing, Defrag, Compress, Reclaim, Release, and dataset housekeeping.
- Monitor storage performance and resolve storage-related incidents within SLA.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
- Prepare operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and customer teams for storage solutions and issue resolution.
