We are looking for a Head of Marketing on behalf of our wellness partner with proven experience in a strong omnichannel role, also tracks customer acquisition, retention, traffic, conversion, media effectiveness and marketing ROI
Key responsibilities
1. Offline and local marketing
- Develop hyperlocal campaigns for individual stores or clusters.
- Use outdoor media, mall branding, radio, print, flyers and transit media.
- Plan opening campaigns for new outlets.
- Build partnerships with offices, colleges, residential communities, gyms, hotels and local businesses.
- Conduct sampling, events, pop-ups, food festivals and community activations.
- Improve signage, visibility, storefront branding and in-store merchandising.
- Create local offers based on catchment demographics, competition and dayparts.
Local-store marketing roles commonly include geo-targeted campaigns, BTL activities, events, store openings, physical branding and footfall tracking.
2. Digital and performance marketing
- Run campaigns on Google, Meta, YouTube and relevant local platforms.
- Drive app downloads, online orders, reservations or store visits.
- Use location-based advertising around outlet catchments.
- Retarget customers who viewed, searched or ordered previously.
- Coordinate with delivery aggregators and online marketplaces.
- Optimise campaigns by cost per visit, cost per order and return on marketing investment.
3. Brand and campaign strategy
- Own the annual marketing calendar.
- Plan product launches, seasonal promotions and limited-time offers.
- Maintain consistent brand messaging across outdoor, social media, app, website, delivery platforms and stores.
- Translate national brand campaigns into relevant city and store-level executions.
- Work with creative, media, PR, influencer and activation agencies.
- Ensure that campaigns are attractive but also operationally executable.
In QSR businesses, the marketing head generally partners closely with operations and product teams for menu launches, promotions and campaign execution
4. Customer growth and loyalty
- Segment customers by frequency, spend, location and preferences.
- Develop loyalty programmes, offers and CRM journeys.
- Increase repeat visits and reduce customer churn.
- Use WhatsApp, SMS, email, app push notifications and in-app offers where appropriate.
- Create offers for different occasions such as breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, weekends and celebrations.
- Build customer databases from both online and offline interactions.
5. Measurement and commercial ownership
The role should own or strongly influence:
- Store footfall.
- Transactions and same-store sales growth.
- New customer acquisition.
- Repeat purchase rate.
- Average bill value.
- Offer redemption.
- Delivery versus dine-in revenue.
- App downloads and active users.
- Customer acquisition cost.
- Return on advertising spend.
- Marketing cost as a percentage of incremental revenue.
- Brand awareness and customer satisfaction.
A strong omnichannel role also tracks customer acquisition, retention, traffic, conversion, media effectiveness and marketing ROI.
