Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, managing appointment scheduling, and providing information about the institute’s services. Daily tasks include handling inquiries in person and over the phone, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and coordinating with coaching staff for client appointments and sessions. The role also involves basic clerical duties such as managing records, updating contact information, sorting mail, and supporting administrative processes. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience for all clients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, managing appointment schedules, and handling inquiries at the front desk.
- Solid phone etiquette, with experience answering, screening, and directing calls in a clear and respectful manner.
- Basic clerical skills, such as record-keeping, data entry, organizing files, and handling mail and office supplies.
- Ability to maintain a calm and welcoming demeanor in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Comfort using office software and tools (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets, or appointment systems).
- Prior experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or customer service is an advantage.
