Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Amravati, responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This role includes managing front office activities, coordinating with housekeeping, food and beverage, and banqueting teams, and handling guest queries, feedback, and escalations with professionalism. The Duty Manager monitors service standards, supports staff scheduling, and ensures adherence to hotel policies, safety protocols, and brand guidelines. The role also involves supervising check-in and check-out processes, assisting with events and high-occupancy days, and reporting operational issues or improvements to senior management. The Duty Manager is expected to lead by example, maintain a strong floor presence, and support team members in delivering consistent, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management skills in front office, guest services, and coordination with cross-functional hotel teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities for effective guest interaction and team leadership.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on hospitality standards, guest satisfaction, and service recovery.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, peak periods, and event-related responsibilities.
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff, provide guidance, and maintain a professional, inclusive work environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations systems (PMS), basic reporting, and familiarity with safety, hygiene, and compliance procedures.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or Duty Manager role in hospitality is highly preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field is desirable; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per operational requirements.
