What are we looking for?
We're looking for a passionate CG Generalist who enjoys working across multiple stages of the 3D production pipeline. If you're someone who loves turning ideas into polished visuals—from building assets and creating realistic materials to lighting scenes and delivering final composites—we'd love to hear from you.
You'll work alongside producers, animators, and creative teams to bring engaging visual content to life across advertising, broadcast, digital, gaming, and immersive experiences. We're looking for someone who combines artistic creativity with technical problem-solving and is comfortable wearing multiple hats throughout production.
Key responsibilities
Modelling :
Build high-quality 3D assets including environments, props, hard-surface, and organic models.
Create clean, production-ready geometry with efficient topology.
Translate concept art and reference material into visually compelling 3D assets.
Optimize models without compromising quality or performance.
Texturing & Look Development :
Create realistic or stylized textures using modern PBR workflows.
Develop UV layouts and texture maps that support production requirements.
Build materials and shaders that achieve the desired visual look across different render engines.
Maintain consistency in asset quality across projects.
Lighting & Rendering :
Light scenes that enhance mood, storytelling, and visual appeal.
Match CG lighting with live-action footage when required.
Produce high-quality renders while balancing performance and efficiency.
Identify and resolve rendering issues to ensure smooth production delivery.
Compositing :
Assemble multi-pass renders into polished, production-ready shots.
Perform compositing tasks including relighting, color correction, cleanup, and CG integration.
Work comfortably in both node-based and layer-based compositing environments.
Deliver final shots that meet creative direction and technical standards.
Collaboration :
Partner with producers, animators, designers, and creative leads throughout the production process.
Participate in creative reviews, respond positively to feedback, and iterate quickly.
Keep project files organized and aligned with studio standards.
Manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting project deadlines.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of the complete 3D production pipeline, including Modeling, UV Mapping, Texturing, Lighting, Rendering, and Compositing.
Experience with physically based rendering (PBR) workflows.
Good understanding of color, composition, and lighting principles.
Familiarity with production optimization techniques and rendering best practices.
Confidence in troubleshooting technical and production challenges independently.
Software Experience
Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D
Substance 3D Painter
Adobe Photoshop
Arnold, Redshift, or V-Ray
Foundry Nuke or Adobe After Effects (node-based and layer-based compositing)
Unreal Engine or Unity (nice to have)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Animation, VFX, Multimedia, Design, or a related field.
3–15 years of experience in VFX, Animation, Gaming, Advertising, or Digital Content production.
A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating end-to-end ownership of high-quality 3D work.
Nice to Have
Experience creating photorealistic product visualizations.
Knowledge of real-time asset optimization.
Exposure to procedural workflows and modern production pipelines.
Experience working with asset management or version control systems.
Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools that improve production efficiency.
