Role Description The BIM Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Solapur, responsible for developing and managing Building Information Models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating detailed BIM models, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating with project teams to resolve design clashes and inconsistencies. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure models align with project specifications, standards, and timelines. The BIM Engineer will support documentation, conduct model reviews, and contribute to design coordination meetings. They will also assist in improving workflows, maintaining model quality, and implementing best practices in BIM across projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including model creation, coordination, and clash detection.
- Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings and documentation, with the ability to interpret and produce accurate plans and details.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Architecture and Civil Engineering to understand design intent and structural requirements.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their integration within BIM models.
- Proficiency in BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to detail and model accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience working on AEC projects and familiarity with industry standards and best practices is an advantage.
