Role Description The Structural Design Engineer will work full time on-site in Devanahalli, North Bengaluru, contributing to the design and analysis of structural systems for various building and infrastructure projects. Daily responsibilities include performing structural calculations, preparing design drawings and detailed documentation, and coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated solutions. The role involves using CAD and specialized structural software to model and verify designs, reviewing construction drawings for accuracy and compliance, and supporting site teams with technical clarifications. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, adhere to relevant codes and safety standards, and assist in optimizing designs for durability, cost-effectiveness, and ease of construction.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and related tools for evaluating loads, stability, and performance of structural systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for preparing and modifying structural drawings and details.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and reliability in design.
- Prior experience in consultancy or turnkey project environments in the building services or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
