Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Kerala, India. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction of residential and commercial structures, ensuring compliance with structural, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with architects and project managers, conducting site inspections, and monitoring project progress. The role involves performing calculations, analyzing load and material requirements, and addressing stormwater and drainage considerations. The Civil Engineer will also collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues, manage timelines, and support high-quality project delivery.
Qualifications
- Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience in Planning and project coordination for residential and commercial construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, or similar) and basic project management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in India; prior experience in Kerala is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to dynamic project needs and timelines.
